Kent - The Garden of England

One of a series of posts to tell you a little more about Karimix.

The Karimix factory is located in the beautiful countryside of Kent, the Garden of England. The factory building was converted from was a dilapidated apple store by the company owner, who had a vision of bringing enterprise back to this rural community. 

The site is surrounded by vast orchards, hop fields and vineyards. Located opposite Karimix is Tattinger, a French Champagne company, who have purchased 69 hectares of farm land at Selling Court Farm.

Karimix is located in East Kent which is famous for its hop Industry, fueling the famous Shepherd Neame Brewery. Shepherd Neame is Britain’s oldest Brewery and produces beer for over 300 pubs throughout London and the South East.  They also happen to be one of our customers so you may well sample their exclusive Kentish Tomato Chutney (made by Karimix from tomatoes from Thanet Earth) if you eat there!

The close proximity of various different types of agriculture ensures that Karimix surrounded by idyllic greenery.
