COVID-19 Statement - March 2020
In light of recent events surrounding COVID-19, we wanted to assure all of our customers that we are following the government coronavirus guidelines closely to ensure best practice. We are monitoring the updates around the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impact to our business. Our priority is the wellbeing of our valued customers, staff, suppliers and wider community.
In line with the recent Government announcement and local authorities, Karimix will remain open to business during this period until otherwise advised. Our aim is to ensure that we continue to maintain the level of service you would expect from us, enabling you to operate your business with minimal disruption. As a BRC Grade A certified producer we already maintain high levels of hygiene within our production facility and we have briefed our staff in regard to the symptoms of COVID-19. We are taking all necessary measures to ensure good hand hygiene and self-isolation practices (where needed) are being met.
To avoid unnecessary social contact and maximise social distancing, some of us will be operating remotely as of Monday 23 March and have set out infrastructure in place to ensure all contacts will remain the same for orders, deliveries and collections. We shall remain in constant contact with our suppliers and let you know if any issues or events affect our supply chain – and affect you.
Generally we accept visits, deliveries and despatches by appointment only. However we are now restricting deliveries and despatches to 2 days a week, until further notice.
Our main aim is for operations to continue fulfilling orders as efficiently as possible. In these unprecedented times, we shall persevere to provide you with the usual high level of service.
